Massive well done to our u14 girls and management. A brilliant weekend had on and off the field.
The girls put on a great display of football all weekend. First up was Wicklow on Friday night & the girls set the bar high from the beginning, beating Wicklow 5-05 to no score.
Next up was Leitrim, another powerful game from the girls and another win in the bag, full time score 8-02 to 6-05.
Saturday morning the girls took on hosts Kilanerin and added to the wins to make it 3 out of 3 with a final score of 2-06 to 0-01. With three wins the girls cruised into the quarter finals against Cavan champions.
Great win against Cavan seen the girls reach the semi finals against St Pauls, Belfast. The game was tight from the first whistle right through and unfortunately St Pauls nipped in front at the last kick of the game with a late goal.
Nonetheless, HUGE achievement for the girls, management and club. You have done yourselves, your family and club very proud!!
